My name is Russell Roy.  My wife Tracy and I are retired.  Tracy left the corporate world in 2014 the age of 43 after working 21 years as a microbiologist.  I joined her in July 2016 at the age of 48 having worked as an engineer for 25 years.  

 

We planned, saved and diligently invested so that working is now optional for the rest of our lives. 

 

The advice I was given was to follow my passions.  That was easy to figure out.  I've always known my passions were finance and travel so I've wrote three books titled Wealth Hacks on FIREFinancial Freedom for Every Canadian and Retire Younger Canada, and share travel experiences on my web page.
