The countryside around Twyfelfontein Namibia is extraordinary. When you dig a little deeper and go for a hike up a craggy mountain side, the rewards are amazing.

Along the valley hillside can be found hundreds of prehistoric rock carvings - petroglyphs. Some date back to 6000 years old. They are thought to be the work of ancient San hunters.
